If you choose to visit Mykonos first like I did <a href=\"http:\/\/wherekatieis.com\/index.php\/2018\/08\/05\/five-must-dos-in-mykonos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>, there&#8217;s also a ferry that you can take from Mykonos to Santorini. It takes about 3 hours to do this hike with plenty of stopping to enjoy the scenery and take photos, which you&#8217;ll definitely want to do!<\/li>\n<li>I highly recommend starting in Fira and hiking to Oia, (rather than starting in Oia), because it&#8217;s less uphill hiking this way. Vinsanto is a dessert wine that is unique to the area, so we actually brought a bottle home to open on our ten year anniversary!\n<p><figure id=\"attachment_505\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-505\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-505 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wherekatieis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/snapseed-23.jpg?resize=640%2C480\" alt=\"snapseed-23\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wherekatieis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/snapseed-23.jpg?w=1000 1000w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wherekatieis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/snapseed-23.jpg?resize=300%2C225 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wherekatieis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/snapseed-23.jpg?resize=768%2C576 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/wherekatieis.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/snapseed-23.jpg?resize=900%2C675 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-505\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It&#8217;s hard to beat views like this while wine tasting!<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li>\n<li>Taking a winery tour like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.getyourguide.com\/santorini-l753\/santorini-wine-adventure-tour-visit-3-santorini-wineries-t28028\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a>\u00a0one is the most convenient (and safest!) way to visit a few of the wineries, where you can enjoy incredible views and try a variety of different red and white wines. Make sure you make a reservation for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.santowines.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Santo Winery<\/a>\u00a0if it&#8217;s not included in your tour.
